DRUG FACTS

The teen brain is still developing until around the age of 25. Developing from the back to front, the prefrontal cortex which controls executive functions such as impulsiveness and decision making. Any kind of alcohol or drug use may impact brain development and put teens at higher risk for mental health disorders, including higher rates of substance use.
